Cross Match designed the FAST SDK software to meet the stringent requirements of the Joint Agency User Group (JAUG). In the federal government's Challenge to Industry issued in September 2005, agencies expressed their urgent need for faster, smaller and more mobile ten-fingerprint capture devices. FAST SDK meets the Challenge by enabling livescan systems to electronically produce a full set of slap fingerprints including thumbs in less than 10 seconds. FAST SDK is simple and easy to integrate into existing software applications.

Fingerprint Template Generator Software Development Kit (SDK) -
Fast and accurate minutiae fingerprint template generation as a basis for 1-to-1 and 1-to-multiple matching purposes
The Cross Match Technologies Fingerprint Template Generator SDK can be used to produce standards compliant fingerprint minutiae data from standard image file formats. The template generator is one step in providing easy utilization of your Cross Match fingerprint scanners for a wide variety of applications such as computer access control, check cashing fraud prevention, secure area access control, welfare fraud prevention, driver's license verification, and border entry/exit control. The minutiae output format follows the ANSI-INCITS 378 specification and provides an interoperable template that can be used to match for identification and verification purposes. A number of vendors, including Cross Match Technologies, have a matching SDK that can be used to provide 1:1 (verification) and 1:N (identification) template matching.

Store and Forward Solution -
Central Repository for Electronic Fingerprint Transmission (EFT) Records
Cross Match Store and Forward Solution was designed for organizations processing applicant and/or criminal fingerprint submissions from multiple livescan systems. As a central repository for Electronic Fingerprint Transmission (EFT) records, the solution is optimized for large-scale livescan system installations. The solution centralizes the EFT records from distributed livescan systems for transmission to a receiving agency, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS).

Specifically designed to collect, bundle and forward biometric data, the solution enables SSL and/or S/MIME encrypted messaging from livescan systems to the Store and Forward Solution. Additionally, the solution allows users to print fingerprint cards, which conform to Receiving Agency standards and create customized transaction reports. Further customization is possible including imports, exports and incorporating customer-specific process flow requirements.

D SCAN Essentials software allows experienced system integrators to create their own applications for the Cross Match D SCAN Authenticator. The software facilitates customized image capture in combination with illumination control and user interface enhancements. This package enables developers to design their own workflows based on their OCR or cryptography technology. The software is available in a runtime version as well as a software development kit (SDK).
