MV5 BCS» SDK for Pocket PC Release version 1.0 (Beta) (ONLY VALID FOR MV5 BCS» SCANNERS)
Attention:
- After installing the PC part of the SDK, all users of MV5 BCS» Scanners need to run Start->Programs->Cross Match Technologies->MV5PPC_SDK->FW_Update in order to get the scanner firmware compatible with PDA applications.
- PDA application requires different USB cable for MV5 BCS» and can be ordered from Cross Match Technologies.
System Software resides on the MV 100 device and includes the MV 100 subsystem driver, OS system settings, dynamic libraries, diagnostics and MV100 demo application for proper hardware operation and testing.

The Cross Match Technologies Fingerprint Extract and Match SDK is a software development environment for creating biometric enabled applications using industry standard ANSI/INCITS 378-2004 minutiae format extraction, 1:1 verification and 1:N identification matching. Versions of the SDK are available for a number of different operating systems and development environments including:
- Microsoft Windows (Win 95 or better)
- Solaris
- Linux
Microsoft Windows Requirements
- Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Supports applications developed for Visual C/C++, Visual Basic and the .NET developement environments.
Licensing
The software supports a number of different licensing terms depending on the desired end use. When used with Cross Match Technologies hardware scanning equipment, the SDK is normally licensed per scanner but other options are also available.

Attention: When used with Cross Match USB scanners, the USB SDK version 3.200 must be installed and the USB scanner licensed, for this SDK to work.
There are 2 SDKs available for the Verifier-E. One is a simple command line based program suitable for Windows/Unix/Linux computers. It illustrates network communications with the Verifier E device and how to retrieve images when a finger is detected.
Simple command line SDK for Windows/Unix/Linux computers
The second is a more full-featured SDK for the Microsoft Windows environment. It provides a DLL to handle all Verifier E communications and a sample application in both Visual C/C++ and Visual Basic that uses the DLL to provide a complete GUI-based example application. Microsoft Visual Studio is required to build the DLL and the applications.
