Overview
Security professionals have long known that three factors are required for strong authentication of personnel: something you know, something you are, and something you have. Passwords provide the first factor, biometrics the second, and secure and trusted credentials the third. The SEEK II Quad Reader is the first system to combine both forensic quality capture of multiple biometrics with validation and authentication of trusted credentials resulting in the ability to positively identify personnel anywhere, anytime.
Advantages
- MRZ Reader: Optically reads machine Readable Zone on documents created to meet ICAO 9303 and ISO/IEC 7501-1 including those on ePassports, visas, and travel documents.
- Contactless Chip Reader: Reads RF chip data on documents created to meet ISO/IEC 14443 including ePassports and some PIV-style cards.
- Contact Chip Reader: Reads chip data from cards created to meet ISO/IEC 7810 and 7816 including PIV cards
- Magnetic Stripe Reader: Magnetically reads stripes on documents created to meet ISO/IEC 7810-7813, 4909 with encoding to meet American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) including those on US drivers’ licenses.
