Cross Match Hires Executives to Lead
Product Management and International Integration

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. August 9, 2011 – Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a global provider of biometric identity solutions, announced that David Ellison will lead Product Management and Shawn Mokhtari will be in charge of International Integration.

David Ellison has joined Cross Match as Vice President, Global Product Management. A former Vice President of Programs and Product Management for Vectronix, Inc., an electro-optics supplier to the defense and homeland security markets, he brings diverse knowledge and expertise to this new position.

Mr. Ellison is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure successful launch of new products.

Mr. Ellison graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy with concentrations in science, mathematics and engineering.

Shawn Mokhtari has joined Cross Match as Vice President, International Integration. In his most recent position, Mr. Mokhtari was Operations Program Manager for Hewlett Packard’s Global Business Unit. He worked closely with contract manufacturing and engineering teams in the U.S. and China and was responsible for the HP Touchpad product ramp-up and launch.

Mr. Mokhtari has extensive knowledge and experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations. For the past several years he has focused on international operations where he was responsible for several large-scale merger and post-merger factory and product launches with large global companies including Solectron and Flextronics.

Mr. Mokhtari is a Member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honorary Society and has a Master's in Engineering Management and a Master's in Operations Research from University of Missouri – Rolla.
