Milton Dean Joins Cross Match Executive Team
as Vice President of Operations

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. May 16, 2011 – Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a global provider of biometric identity solutions, announced today that Milton Dean has joined the company as vice president of operations to support the realignment of operations and the implementation of LEAN manufacturing processes.

Dean joins Cross Match from the Safran Group (Paris: SAF) subsidiary Vectronix Inc., a leading provider of multi-function integrated electro-optics, laser range finding and north finding technologies for the U.S. departments of defense and homeland security. As vice president and general manager of operations at Vectronix, he established manufacturing operations in the U.S. and set up supply chain logistics while coordinating with Swiss- and French-based parent companies.

Dean brings an extensive background in operations and engineering, which includes the design and implementation of domestic and global supply chain logistics improvement initiatives. He has held various operations and manufacturing leadership positions with Cabletron Systems, Commodore International, Data General and Flextronics International.

Prior to joining the private sector, Dean served in the U.S. Coast Guard, managing engineers and technicians, and developing systems for navigation system automation.

Graduating summa cum laude, Dean has a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from the University of Southern Maine, and holds an associate’s degree in electronics technology from Southern Maine Technical College.
