Cross Match Highlights Multimodal Biometric Offerings at INDESEC

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. September 3, 2010 – Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a global provider of biometric identity solutions, will show its newest biometric products at the INDESEC Expo 2010 in New Delhi, India on September 6-8.

During the event, Cross Match will demonstrate its multimodal solutions, including SEEK® (Secure Electronic Enrollment Kit). A handheld multimodal identification and enrollment platform, SEEK is a rugged, man-portable solution that combines forensic-quality fingerprint capture, rapid dual iris scanning and innovative facial recognition technology.

Also on display will be the Guardian Jump Kit—a compact, highly mobile solution for capturing and transmitting forensic-quality digital fingerprints, iris images, photographs and demographic data. “The Jump Kit is configured and ready to operate right in its hermetically sealed case,” explains Arnd Langguth, Vice President, EMEA and AsiaPac Sales at Cross Match. “Both SEEK and the Jump Kit are designed for field use by law enforcement and the military for identity verification in harsh, remote environments.”

The L SCAN 500P completes the product showcase. “The 500P meets market demand for a compact, single platen device for capturing fingerprints and palm print images,” notes Langguth. Patented Auto Capture™ technology makes it simple to obtain forensic-quality palm images in less than one second.

“INDESEC is India’s most prominent homeland security show and our participation follows our recognition as the first certified supplier of biometric devices for India’s unique identification numbers (UID) project,” states Langguth. The certifications were approved by the Standardization, Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate for the Government of India’s Department of Information Technology (DIT).
