Fred Baradari Joins Cross Match Executive Team
to Lead Biometric Solutions Effort

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. April 4, 2011 – Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a global provider of biometric identity solutions, announced today that Fred Baradari has joined the company as President of Government Solutions.

With more than 25 years of business leadership and technology experience, Mr. Baradari has a proven track record in professional services, sales, product development and the government sector. In his most recent position, Mr. Baradari was responsible for delivering software solutions to address the complex, mission-critical needs of the federal law enforcement and intelligence communities in the U.S. and with numerous international allies. While working with the Department of Justice, Mr. Baradari led numerous projects developing secure, Web-based biometric systems. These solutions allowed the Department of Justice to collaborate and share information among multiple federal agencies, in addition to state and local law enforcement organizations.

Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Mr. Baradari held executive positions in sales, operations, and new-product development in the technology, financial services, telecommunications, and Internet/e-Business industries. In his impressive career he has led numerous projects and programs, large scale service launches, start-up companies, M&A activities, and large scale technology transformations.

A graduate of the University of Missouri, Mr. Baradari holds both Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees in mechanical engineering. He also has a Masters in Business Administration from George Washington University.
