John B. Hinmon – Senior Vice President, Marketing

John Hinmon joined Cross Match in 2011 to lead its global marketing activities. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vectronix Inc., a Safran group company and a leader in multi-function handheld electro-optic and positioning systems designed for defense and security applications.

Prior to Vectronix, Mr. Hinmon held various product management, business development and commercial leadership positions with GE Capital Services and HD Supply businesses. He also served as a consultant with International Strategy Services, Incorporated, a boutique M&A advisory and market consultancy specializing in the Portuguese-speaking world. He began his career in Ernst & Young’s Northeast Management Consulting Practice based in Manhattan.

A GE Six Sigma Quality Green Belt and recipient of the GE Equipment Services Leadership Summit Award, Mr. Hinmon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the E.C. Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.
