David Ellison – Senior Vice President, Product Management

David Ellison joined Cross Match in 2011 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Product Management, responsible for the Company’s product portfolio and new product development.  

Previously, Mr. Ellison led the Program and Product Management team at Vectronix Inc., a Safran group company and a leader in multi-function handheld electro-optic and positioning systems designed for defense and security applications. 

Prior to Vectronix, Mr. Ellison held quality, sourcing and general management positions with industry leading businesses such as HD Supply and General Electric. He also successfully ran and sold his own services business.  Mr. Ellison began his career as a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy, spending seven years in various leadership roles both onboard ship and in shore-based commands.   

Mr. Ellison is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy where he concentrated in Engineering and Mathematics.
