In today’s world, real-time identification of individuals has become increasingly
important. This is especially true for military operations, law enforcement, border
control and emergency operations. Due to their unique characteristics, biometrics
and more specifically fingerprints, are a preferred means for quick and accurate
subject identification. The Cross Match IDTrak is a self-contained system,
providing simple, fast and accurate fingerprint-based subject identification.
IDTrak provides real-time subject verification (1:1) and identification (1:N) in mobile
and stationary locations, without the need to interface to remote AFIS databases.
The system instantly matches fingerprints captured as part of a criminal history
background check or fingerprints captured on Cross Match single, dual or multi-finger
scanners against duplicate records, watch lists, border control lists, “keepout”
lists, and “most-wanted” lists.
Available in standalone configurations small enough to fit on a standard laptop
and server configurations servicing limitless workstations, IDTrak scales to meet a
variety of needs. And because the system expands as needs dictate, its graceful
growth path ensures investment protection.

Enrollment consists of capturing fingerprints, personal data and a digital photograph. The scanner auto capture and hand detection features automatically recognize repeat visitors, thereby shortening the data capture process. For first time visitors, personal data can be quickly captured from a drivers license or other ID with the integrated magnetic stripe reader, credit card reader. The operator can type in any additional information as required and capture a digital photograph. Once the visitor is enrolled, an ID badge can be printed and access granted. Activity log history is maintained and updated with every transaction. The history log includes information about the visitor, the host, the time and date of entry and exit and the operator who authorized the activity. This information can be sorted by visitor, host and time and date.
