PRODUKTE UND SYSTEME
The Cross Match MV 5 was the first all-digital mobile fingerprint capture device providing immediate, in-the-field identification and verification. This hand-held, single finger capture unit provides on the spot access to crucial identification data in many environments such as traffic stops, crime scenes, border patrol, and military field operations.
A fingerprint image captured and stored inside the MV 5’s on-board memory can quickly be transferred to a laptop, PC or MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) via a universal serial bus (USB) cable. The MV 5 combines digital image capture and transmission of high-quality 500 PPI images to identification databases such as the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) 2000 or Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for fast, reliable results. The USB interface eliminates the need for a frame-grabber and separate power supply, making true plug-and-play connectivity a reality.
