System Requirements

The Verifier Mw is a handheld, portable fingerprint capture device, designed to provide military and law enforcement agencies with the capability to immediately capture and collect forensic-quality fingerprint images. When coupled with an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS), it provides instantaneous submission and access to information concerning crucial data that may be needed at a traffic stop, crime scene or interdiction event. If instant submission is not required, fingerprint images can also be captured and stored in the Verifier Mw on-board memory and quickly transferred to a laptop, PC or Mobile Data Terminal (MDT). The high-quality, 500 ppi, digital fingerprint image is transmitted using a USB or wireless (802.11 or Bluetooth) interface. It is battery powered, eliminating the need for a separate power supply, making it truly a plug and play device.

The Verifier Mw system information, logs and configuration are viewable through any Web browser or custom application. The wireless LAN connection makes the Verifier Mw faster and easier to integrate into your identification and verification projects.
