FaceSnap^® Recorder is a turnkey solution for biometric identity checks, video observation, access monitoring and other applications requiring facial recognition and recording.

A combined digital video recorder and facial recognition software locate and extract facial images from video footage for identification and verification. Individual facial patterns are then recorded and stored in an easy-to-navigate database that can be viewed on a PC monitor. It can also be used as a back-up to existing security systems.

An important feature of FaceSnap Recorder is that it recognizes and records facial images from different viewing angles. If multiple faces enter its field of vision, it automatically records all of them. Users are ensured of receiving the visual information they need quickly, efficiently and reliably.

• Comparison window allows images to be viewed, analyzed and compared in detail.
  
• Law Enforcement Edition allows officers to document the presence of suspects automatically or manually – linking individuals to a crime or significant event. A proven search function and unique activity-monitoring graphic can cut the time needed to evaluate an observation video (e.g., 24-hour time-lapse) to less than 30 minutes. Facial images can be compared against existing databases and can also be imported and exported in all common formats.
